The fact that the gas output from a China developed deep water gas field exceeds 10 billion cubic meters is a remarkable achievement.

I. Significance for Energy Supply

Increasing Domestic Energy Resources
   It helps to enhance China's domestic natural gas supply. With the continuous growth of China's economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the demand for clean energy such as natural gas is increasing. The large scale gas production from deep water gas fields can reduce China's dependence on imported natural gas to a certain extent, and improve the security of the national energy supply.

These technologies ensure the safe and efficient extraction, transportation, and processing of natural gas from deep water gas fields.
Engineering Construction and Project Management
   The construction of deep water gas field projects involves large scale engineering construction in complex marine environments. China has accumulated rich experience in project management, including the coordination of multiple contractors, the control of construction quality and progress, and the safety management of marine engineering construction.
